Thorncreek Winery and Gardens is fast becoming one of Ohio’s premiere wineries! Grab your friends for a fun Saturday afternoon and join us for our “Support Local Series” as we showcase local Henna artist, Nikki “Cricket” Rettman.
$25 includes a glass of ThornCreek Winery’s award-winning wine of your choice, and a custom 10 minute henna tattoo by Nikki, owner and artist of The Artful Cricket. (Double the tattoo size for an additional $10!) Nikki has been working with henna for 20 years. Introduced to the art of henna, or mehndi, at a young age, she fell in love with this ancient artform, and her work is impeccable!
Originating in pre-dynastic Egypt, the use of the hanna plant to temporarily adorn the body has spread across the globe. Experience the beauty of this ephemeral body art for yourself on February 27th! A 10 or 20 minute hanna session will whet your appetite or feed your “henna habit”.
